Kiyomizu Temple is one of the most popular tourist site in Kyoto. The temple was added as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1994 and it is famous for its large wooden terrace. The Main building of Kiyomizudera is constructed by special architectural method, constructed with only wood pieces without any nails. It is located on hill side of eastern Kyoto. From the temple, you can enjoy enjoy beautiful scenery of the city of Kyoto, and beautiful colors of cherry and maple trees in four seasons.
